Dell should update its xps line notebooks and ultrabooks with 3rd generation processors.

    I am holding my breath for the XPS17 (or more choices on the Inspiron 17R).

    The XPS line should have motherboards capable of taking 4 DIMMs.  It was not clear on the website that the old XPS17 2D was limited to 8GB on 2 DIMMs.  The XPS17 3D could take 16GB on 4 DIMMs.  People buy these specifically for better specs and I have read some very disappointed reviews on the web from people expecting to upgrade later only to find out they couldn't.
