the reason i bought my mini 9 was flat out because it was so small. if there was a smaller one with a SSD drive in it, i woulda bought that one. ive never seen a netbook smaller than mine, or lighter than mine. and it powered by ubuntu 9.04Aug 12, 2009 Comment Link

I fail to see why the Mini 9 (maybe you could update it?) and the Mini 10|v cannot exist together...Jul 24, 2009 Comment Link

10v is no replacement for the Mini 9... the first one is a mini laptop, the second one a netbook. One doesn't need an oversized keyboard and a 160GB HDD for browsing the net.
The 10v is bigger (not good), the screen resolution is worse, and the default battery is smaller.

The replacement for the Mini 9 is the Mini 10v. It has a bigger screen and a *much* better keyboard.Jun 1, 2009 Comment Link

Er, I don't think Dell is discontinuing the Mini 9 because of MS.Nonethelss, it'd be nice if you continued the Mini 9.
