Alienware laptop that's easily portable

Right now i only see  three Alienware laptops on their website, and theyre all bulky. i think it would be great for alienware to make a thin and lightweight laptop. im not saying it has to be a top of the line gaming laptop, but it should have 3rd gen Intel core i7, a great video card, at least the ability to carry 16gb of DDR3 1600MHz + RAM, and maybe better battery life than 2.5 hrs (4.5+ hrs would be nice). And if they could squeeze all that into a tight frame of 1.2 inches thick and under 6 lbs with options of either a 15.6 or 17.3 inch full HD screen. Then the design can be nice and slick similar to the Samsung Series 7 but Alienware's version of it.  Its probably really hard to get a high performance laptop into a small shell like that, but i think it would be a great step forward for Alienware and it gives customers a  choice betwen either a High end gaming BEAST or a high performance premium style laptop with gaming capabilities if wanted.

But realistically i dont think Dell will aprove of this because it may take sales away from their XPS laptops.
But its worth a try.

    Why not go buy a Razer Blade if you want something thin and light?  Alienware making gaming computers.  Why would they deviate from that to build a thin and light non-gaming computer?

    Don't know if they're going to pull off a thin/sleek Alienware. It's gotta have a real GPU to be an Alienware, so it needs some thickness to handle heat and allow some airflow.

    But something should fill the void left by the m11x. The m14x is too big. Something running Optimus, so you can get plenty of battery life for basic work use, then switch to full gamin power on the proper GPU.

    I agree HerrKaputt, m11x is an excellent machine.

    That laptop existed until recently, it's called the M11x. It was an excellent machine.

    Dell decided to stop making it. Go figure.
