My xps m1330 has a soft-touch cover (with different colors available) which made it very easy to pick up and hold.
My xps 14z has a slick aluminum cover and is very difficult to pick up or hold.  In addition, the Dell raised emblem on the cover scratches my hand.
The new xps ultrabook has carbon fiber back, but same old slick aluminum cover.
Why not carbon fiber front and back?
