I know this has been posted again and again (and if there are similar posts, please link them so that I can vote for them too. Too lazy to search).
Dell already has a good design in the Dell Latitude E6220. Please put in an AMD A10-4600M. I see no ultraportables on the market incorporating it. Call it the Dell Latitude E6235. If businesses don't go in for this, there are plenty of consumers who would love to have the Dell Latitude build quality and warranty. These laptops already have excellent ergonomics. The battery life is going to be really good with the 6 cell and people can get some decent gaming on the go.
I do recall that AMD came out saying that the next generation of processors will be out out only during the 'back to school' season next year.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply, Cy_J! It is not my intention to shame Dell, but to inform. I know that the folks at Dell are extremely busy and may not have the time to pay attention to all the new products that are coming down the pipe. Knowing what the competiton is producing may or may not contribute to Dell's product design decisions, but I figure it is better to know than not know. And my post on June 6th was merely to convey my disappointment- I simply wanted Dell to be in that partner lineup too.Jun 11, 2012 Comment Link

I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm on this idea. I wanted to pass along something I learned in my time as a site user here that may be helpful. I too tried to shame Dell into acting on ideas I felt needed their attention. While it usually got me the attention of the site moderator it didn't get my idea through the process any faster. All the ideas go through a process which includes letting the community vote and comment on an idea. The fastest way to get your idea the attention you really want is to get the word out about it so that others will vote it up.On a side note there is another idea on the site requesting Dell create AMD Trinity laptops that is currently under review.

A new interesting Latitue E6430S showed up in some websites with thinner case than regular Latitudes and 14" screen in 13" body. There were no informations about specs, but I guess this is going to be the A10-4600M Trinity Latitude.1 2 Next
