What users want in m14x

Promote

  • Anti glare 300nit 900p display, no 768p display
  • nvidia GTX graphics card
  • dual heat ventilation on the back (like m17x) for better cooling instead of one
  • slimmer height
  • metal-carbon fibre body, no plastic
  • spill resistance,flex free,individual key illumination chicklet keyboard ( maintaining the quality of Alienware)
  • JBL sound
  • inclusion of Alien head ( on the lid) in AlienFX
  • hybrid hard drive support
  • thunderbolt port, no VGA & USB 2.0 port
  • Blue ray burner
  • larger trackpad
  • front grill style like m15x ( my choice)
  • And obviously some price drop!

    Ah, then I misunderstood you. I thought you meant that each key could have a different color. In that case I agree with you on single-key illumination.

    Single key illumination would be absolutely fine because light will come from the keys directly not from the edges!

    • price drop, obviously, the thing is mega-pricey! :)
    I disagree with:
    • slimmer height -- of course, slimmer is better, but in general it's hard to have a slim laptop with a lot of processing power
    • individual key illumination -- probably hard to do; if anything
    I don't really care about the remaining points.

    I see. Your idea would have a lot more strength if you posted that "large number of sites", otherwise it seems like you are just mentioning your opinion.
