A sketch of the desing
- sorry for the ruff sketch, I will most likely clean it up and make a more detailed picture later
The keyboard will be designed like the Alienware M15x'


No one has managed to make an ultraportable gaming laptop so far that doesn't sacrifice portability or performance - even Razer failed with their Razer Blade. Now it's time to change that with the Alienware U15!

Specifications:
- Carbon fiber chassis - 2.30cm thickness!
- Quiet and effective cooling solution
- nVIDIA GTX 600 series GPU with Optimus thechnology
- 2560x1440 matte IPS or equivalent LED screen @ 120Hz
- 2MP camera
- Stereo mics - high quality so you don't need a headset when gaming
- USB 3.0 ports
- 7 in 1 card reader slot
- no optical drive - instead you'll have room for fans and optimal cooling components
- SSD up to 512GB as an option
- JBL speakers
- Creative Sound Core3D - quad core sound and voice processor
- High capacity 9-cell Lithium Ion battery (90WHr)
- Alienware X51 inspired grills with customizable LEDs
- fullsize keyboard, but without a numpad
- More practical placement of ports
- Centered touchpad

    Good point on the confusion of different specs in different areas.  I was thinking more along the lines of being able to see how the idea has evolved over time.  Carry on.  :)

    Yes, I know this, but it would be quite confusing if vital information differed from the original post. This was not an extension, but and update on the current specifications. I will use the idea extension if I have something to add, and since you prefer that I use the extension instead of only asking for an update, I'll do that too. Thanks for the update and for keeping the sentence! :)

    I updated the information for you but kept the Carbon fiber chasis.  Perhaps in the future you should use the idea extension and your comment can include that after consideration you would like to add the following changes...
