Touch Keyboard + Trackpad

Till now, users have used a touch pad , a touch screen but no touch keypad. What if the laptop has touch keyboard?
We just touch our finger to a point and a key is pressed. It will also give the style to the laptop and users can actually keep their keypad clean.
I have also attached the figure of how the keyboard will look like.touch keyboard

    In ordinary keyboard. spring or rubber pad absorbs the strike of finers. How would it feel when typing in fast speed on a hard surface.

    What would be the compelling reason to build this keyboard?  Studies indicate that both audible and tactile feedback are desired in a keyboard.

    Would the keyboard image be static, configurable or simply a touch screen that can be used as a keyboard as needed?
