Automatically switches drives or you can choose. Just hoe when you pop in a cd and the autoplay screen pops up, the option would come same way when you put a high qaulility disc in. It would automatically switch if the main drive couldn't support it. The performance drive would have 16GB ram and a dual video card of the Radean 6970 orNVIDIA 3D 560 1GB.
