Touch screen Monitors

With Windows 8 coming out this year, I beleave that Dell should release all it's laptops with touch screen monitors, as of now. That way it will keep ahead of the ipad type devices.

    Touch screen is oK for items like iPads, but not for laptops. Most of your working time on a laptop, would be cleaning the smudges off the screen, and if your kids get their hands on it, well, time for a new laptop.

    Unless the laptop in question is a convertable tablet, a touchscreen would be almost useless. While this seems like a cool idea, Apple has done many usability studies on this concept with very poor results. Plus, I have a hard enough time keeping my laptop screen smudge-free as it is.

    IMO, voice navigation is the way of the future.

    Dell already has touchscreen laptops in the latitude series like the  Latitude XT3
