I have  an old calculator that is run on solar, why can't you use the same technology to constatly maintain the battery in lap tops? Free power no matter where you are.

    It would be great if the power generated by solar cells charge the battery if it not fully charged and if it i fully charged/ fully discharged, then power generated by solar cells directly drive the Laptop.
