A fully functional, basic laptop needs to be developed for younger children (3+).  They are no longer satisfied with the kids "laptop" toys that are available and a solid, (virtually) indestructible cheaper laptop, with slightly bigger keys, and with basic software, would be very popular.  If these could be developed with different colours or designs - possibly a partnership with Disney??  My daughter (who is now 6) has been using her brother's laptop for three years to create designs using Paint or Word - we let her use YouTube with all the security settings (and keeping a close eye on her)...actually a child's laptop should come with a very easy to use net security programme installed.  There is nothing like this on the market - come on Dell!  I think this is a very big gap worth capturing.
