I Believe Dell should use it's combination of Solar energy RnD , manufacturing and software and firmware engineering to create a total Solar panel kit solution for  homes, Rvs, Camping and small business applications.

Currently the components for a Solar Panel Kit are all sold separately or bundled together and sold to the end user.

Dell should invent a Solar Panel that contains everything a Solar panel kit would contain, but integrated in a modular and connectable design.. It could supply power in different form factors.. from small kits used for powering laptops... to large scale kits suitable for home installations and small offices.. this is the wave of the future..

Imagine the entire panel containing the battery, power metering, software and firmware monitoring, connections and storage needed to just emplace it on a Campsite, Rv, House, building or construction site and it would provide the ability to hook up devices, computers, appliances or even conduits!!! SWEET!!!!

Dell has a technology team that could create this product.. Dell could build a new future for itself.

    Funding Organization: SunShot Initiative

As part of the SunShot Initiative, DOE is investigating the development of transformational plug-and-play technologies and systems to reduce balance-of-system soft costs, which include permitting, inspection, and grid interconnection. When installing a photovoltaic (PV) system is as simple as plugging an appliance into a wall outlet, the residential PV market will grow at an accelerated rate.

"Dell should use it's combination of Solar energy RnD..."
Why do you believe that Dell has expertise in solar energy?
