I have a Dell U3011 Ultrasharp monitor.  I like the 16:10 format a lot better than the 16:9 with the 27" Apple display.

I also have a Dell M4600 precision laptop and a MacBookPro 15 that switch back and forth everyday.
It would be so nice if Dell adds a pair of thunderbolt ports to your next 30" class professional IPS monitor.

Then I can have a nice setup with connection to both laptop and only use the onscreen manual to switch between the 2 laptops.
Please dont' force me to buy the Apple 27" monitor because they are the only vendor with a pair of display ports.
