Email update notifications for order status

In Germany: after your order has been confirmed you`ll get a link to the order status page showing the current status (order received, in process, production, sent). I know that a lot of consumer buyers are very excited about their new dell product so that they access this page very often a day to see the progress. It would be beneficial if a change of the order status would be sent out by Email.

    Yes, that's a very nice idea Nowi!
    I have experience with sites where they send you an e-mail if the status changes, and I can say I am more satisfied with the sites providing this service. To put it in a simple sentence: I feel more appreciated as a customer.
