XPS Notebooks Ideas : PART # 1

Well, i don't how to start...but thinking 'bout Hi-Quality, Newer, Evo & Sophisticated in Notebooks, there is a lots things that can be apply and make standardizations for all xps notebooks. As this point lower Production cost + lower sale cost = More Happy Clients. All right, as (all of we) a lot people know, DELL its the best, Home, SOHO, Enterprise-Corporations-Govs-Edus use DELL over around the world.

Newer Things: (Im going to finish ideas work, or maybe Dell want to Contract me :) )

- Thinking of future in 2010---- the 10 in roman its X... XPS ...can use as the model too...(XPS X-9, X-13, X-15, X-17 & X-21 or other screen size)
On the LCD back, can use that X and in the center Circle with DELL, around the DELL, in the circle can be illiminated with XPS 16 COlors and even when turn on some animation to complete the circle..., and Keep the XPS in the sides ( M1710 & M1730), others can we just one XPS like actually models 1330 and 1530

That X, can made with Metal, black brush, plated brush (like Titanium color) and the hole part as a basic colors... Or hole part as a metal black or plated brush, and the X with metal brush or even basic colors like white, black, gray, red.

- LCD Holding Nice look on xps 13 & 15, with dell brand, can even work for 17? But with some mechanical architecture about firm screws, i mean to make it more resistant to lcd weight and movements. LCD must be more thin.

1. Keyboard.
A - Conventional KB sometimes crack on fingers and the key fly away.
B - Conventional KB somethings make badly noise, or even the normal pressed sound.
C - Conventional KB can crash, easily electric contact fail, sticky, hard to clean, etc When figers become sweat, dirt/dust on the air or when we accidentally drop coffee, water, juice on the KB.
D - After lot of time now...we have illuminated KBs...But what happens if something Occurs as "C", or maybe A,B,C, keep appears.

OK. As you can see, the New "Media Buttons" like the magic touch. They are not Conventional Keys, are more than it. I mean, its a lot of work here:
A - Must make hole and one piece conventional keyboard as it (maybe one hole piece as Pad & palm rest), now this new keyboard concept must have the same relieve (little downer as hole palm rest) as the PAD...

B - BIOS / Dell Soft can Adjust the "Dark Hours, Intensity, Etc" about this new Keyboard concept become automatically Illuminated as a WHITE Leeds....And the Magic Comes when you touch its...i mean from maybe 6PM (Evening little dark) to 6AM (Next day Morning), Keyboard turn on white light on each key and the key's contour, and the magic (to be more fun, Evolutionist, & attractive) when you touch a key, rapidly (just the character/Fs keys) turn to red and then turn to white again. LiKe Same Effect as the normal "Media Buttons". ----------- Im going to finish a anim demonstration of the idea

C. MEAN more work...but interesting, just Use 2 colors, white and red...but what if we can use the colors on the XPS. ( Ruby, Smerald, Saphire, Coral, White, Violet, etc etc etc... ) for as background color...; And the second color (selected ) for the PRESS / Touch color.

D. Media Control buttons without change.

2. PAD / Mouse ( Taking the idea of the newer keyboard concept...the PAD on new Inspiron, and others its part of the palm rest, thats works to prevent any filtration and easy to clean, etc)

A - Keep Beauty XPS Words and all Colors from the PAD.
B - Make it with more significative space, to separate the UP/DOWN - LeFT/RIGHT Navigation control lines.
C - Later ill give others ideas.

3. Figerprint. (as the main idea...make a hole piece with little downer)

A - Look Good, but can be as conventional as a oval (1.5cm x 2.0 or 2.5 cm)? but to prevent somebody still your print...can be as a rugged cristal or rubber or some material that can read your firgerprint but no to keep the mark...

B - what about to put it beside just from the PAD?
mean PAD and Figerprint.

4. Sound on the compact models (9,13,15) must have a little subwooffer and the 2 normal speakers.
for biggers models (17) 2 subwooffers and 4 speakers, and for model (21 or other size) 2 subwoof and 6 to 8 speakers. Lights on speakers can be applied on any model.

As a musician I always think, "Realtek" chip is not bad. but can make some deal with Creative SoundBlaster or E-MU to make the chip like X-FI or something? it maybe cost around 100 or 200 $, but sound ill be professional for hearing and making music. and what for music creation? with the firewire or/and USB port connect and external box like a music station mixer I/O (Size as 5.25" Bay, it will need external A/C Energy ) (for studio recording, individual inputs 6 "mics, instruments" and 4 outputs " speakers monitor & Headphones") with independent Volume controls.

All of these apart of the main chip on the notebook, i mean the notebook must have the normal input MIC and 1 or 2 outputs for headphones or external speakers, and with the external box just like expantions and the hole console/mixer control without affecting notebook.

Give free 2 pair isolated earbubs, about 3 or 4 Foots of cable.

5. Build in Mic and Cam. its ok. but standard as 2.0 mp cams, white led can be applied.

6. Allways add as standard the ExpressCard Remote control.

Separate sell the USB TV tunner (Coaxial to USB) with its control remote.

7. Bluray Burner Slot / Drive as standard

8. VIDEOCARD.
try as standard NVIDIA Quadro FX.

for bigger 17 & 21.. Dual FX 3700M SLI - 1Gb and SLI 2Gbs
for 13 & 15 NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M - 512Mb
for 9 NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700M & 2700M - 256Mb

Now, people use XPS as standard for all activities, Video editing, gamming, musicians hobbies,

9. RAM DDR2 (Future DDR3 1066/1333Mhz)

Intel Atom Centrino cpu will change, or maybe can use actual and future cpus

for 9,13,15 Make standard 2GB to 4GB 800Mhz ( Intel Mobile CPUs are from 800 to 1033)
for 17 and 21, ,make standard 4Gb to 8Gbs at 800Mhz.
