Rugged and Drop Resistant Laptops

Laptops should by default be more resistant to drops, shocks, falls, and water.
In addition there should be a line of laptops, or a special option to get extra rugged laptops that could be used in situations where you normally wouldn't take your laptop.

How about dell laptops that are, by default, resistant to drops, dust (esp for developting countries) and water(spill resistant)?Accidents (especially with coffee, drop and pressure (Oops... I stepped on my laptop :P ) sometimes happen and they are unpredictable. I think no dell user should lose their laptop just because of such accidents.

That is one laptop. It should be an option made more readily available. I knew of the ATG, thats why I suggested a whole line of laptops. I say this because I know a lot of people who want a strong laptop, but think the ATG is just a bit overdoing it by the way it is advertised.Feb 27, 2007 Comment Link
