I want to propose a litte mark in notebooks' back edge which users can align with a similar mark or an edge on the docking station/port replicator. For myself, I have just added little sharpie marks which have to be aligned with the outer edge of the sliding part of the port replicator (see picture).



It would make the docking process so much less frustrating, and would be an example of a small design change, entirely without technical fallout, which would save each user who docks his notebook a couple of seconds every time.
