I myself and many other people I know are passionate users of a point stick instead of a touchpad when working with a notebook. Why do all your new notebook models not have a point stick anymore?
In fact, for me this is a reason for thinking of buying my upcoming notebook not from DELL ... great pity.
Please think of reintroducing point sticks, maybe as optional choice.

The Latitude and Precision lines largely still have them. They're standard on E6xxx Latitudes and Precisions, and they're an option on the E5xxx line. Pointing sticks are pretty standard equipment on business end laptops - Acer, HP, and others all offer pointing sticks on their business laptops.
