Everyone is expecting a lot from Dell XPS 17z.
According to Kano's Model , satisfaction level of customers increases exponentially if unexpected features are included .

Everbody is expecting Ivy Bridge Processors and GTX 6xx Series GPUs are a must. That is assumed.  Because of this SLeek Design is also Expected.

Keyboard Space should be large as that is a problem in xps 15z  . Arrow keys are very small . Their size should be increased. The space between the keys is excellent but the size is small. There should be more keys and avg. key size should be increased.  Numpad is expected.

For this screen size should be increased to 17.6 inch or 17.8 inch. This will increase the space available for larger keys and also take away the market for other 17 and 18+ inch laptops available.   By providing bags for these odd  screen sizes will lead to almost everyone buying the bags along with the laptops.

Speaker should be loud and wild . If possible , with Quadro Speakers instead of Dual Speakers. They should be so loud that there is hardly any need of extra external speakers.

Plus there should be a backlit boundary for touchpad as is provided in the high end HP Laptops along with a backlit keyboard.

RAM should be from 8 to 16GB . 16 GB RAM should be provided for the higher end configurations.  It should be at 1333MHz or if possible , 1600MHz.

Graphics Card used should be GTX 660M or above.

Hard Drive should be atleast 1.5 TB HDD 7.2K rpm,   if little amount of SSD ( Like 32GB or 64GB )  is provided along with this , then it will be superb.

These combination of configurations will  make the line of difference between a Dekstop Replacement  & a mobile High Performance Gaming Laptop very thin .

It may harm the high end image of Alienware M18x but those features can be increased accordingly.

This is what everyone wants. Dell should offer this no matter what it costs.

I forgot to mention, These high end features should not only be available in US or Canada but also in other countries like India & China should have the same options as available in US or Canada.
