DO NOT NEED CPU FOR OUR PC!

      i am a university student.when i use my heavy lap-top,something occur me which is can we use our wi-fi our ADSL to connect with an super computer and so that we can wipe off our computer's CPUandstorage,or the whole calculative and store device.we can convey our computer's data to the super computer and let that computer conduct our data,then send the solved data back.
      if it is practicable,we will get an thiner and lighter computer,and we also can save money.
      if we can set an super computer company,maybe,This company can control the whole world PC and earn much more money.

    Before the distributive computing concept supported by the current computers, all processing was done in centralized data centers.  Indeed, only monitors, not computers were needed.  So, you think that the paradigm used 30 years ago was better?

    While it is an interesting concept, it is actually kind of being done with amazon web services, and windows azure.The problem I see with this is you still need some amount of processing to handle the data being sent back and forth between the "super computer" and your laptop. I think this idea would be best suited to be implemented when we have computers that roll up like paper :).

    hmmmm sounds scary and cool same time,

    and there is one thing:
     7 billion humans on erth to 1 super computer = not more performance

    and imagine the sys get viruss and all data get lost

    and what abaut privacy of humans, banks and industry firms
    all in one storage? same place?

    but its posible :D
