When purchasing digital downloads from Dell, you are directed to: downloadstore.dell.comThe download manager for this site is par at best and continually gives false positives when attemting to download purchased software. The only work-around is to keep closing the application and try again until it finally starts downloading the software.I can only imagine how many frustrated customers there are when they think it might be their system causing the problem when it is not. --LANMAN

  • NEW Alienware M11x convertible please.

    Status: Acknowledged

    1. When R3 got canned a lot of us were gutted and I myself being Malaysian couldn't even buy an R2 without going through grey imports via local tech forums' dealers. Which was unacceptable since there's a proper Dell Malaysia but at the time for whatever possible reason(s), the newly acquired Alienware line were way too slow to arrive. Top it all off with the reason why R3 got canned was due to low demand???2. Intel Broadwell on 14nm process is coming and there's AMD Kaveri, why can't we have BOTH options available for a new M11x? In-house engineered end product design should overcome the usual TDP, heat and power draw issues instead of just rebadging a Clevo or reference design?3. Competitors such as nVIDIA with their newly launched SHIELD tablet and Razer with their Edge and Edge Pro systems can mount a more serious challenge with each SoC + CPU's progress incoming, so I feel that my idea here are more than just timely.

  • This really hurts customers who want to have a computer that you do not have to press the power button everytime, to just wake from sleep. I was so used to every desktop, laptop, I've owned to be able to wake from sleep/hiberation with a mouse click. Now this option is gone from later bios revisions and it is awful. Please Bring It Back!
