Google translate (french ---> english) Hello, I am giving you some ideas to improve the Alienware range To start one of the big problems of the Alienware with gpu series 10, it is the lack of USB 3.0. Adding 2 more on the sides would make the product easier to use, because having to use a USB HUB is really not pratical to plug in (blu-ray player, sd card reader, keyboard-mouse, usb headset, external hdd, smartphone, audio dac, etc...). To continue on the defects, there is that of the temperatures of the components and the distribution of the heat. Initially, the use of a vapor chamber will transmit the heat equally to the heatsink. Next, add small heatsink (copper or aluminum) to the PCH and a third fan 'small and fine) aspire fresh air in front of the alienware beside the speakers, to cool the ssd m.2 nvme that heat up so throttles. This will allow to cool all the pc (motherboard, battery, ram, keyboard, etc...). And in a third time make a larger grid under the pc and use an insulating material as some competitor model do. Then improve the idea of the graphics amplifier which is a great idea by the way, with 8x or16x pci-e cabling, or using the proprietary port and the thunderbolt 3 usb simultaneously or improve the proprietary port so that it support 8x. The wiring in 4x current is not futurproof because with the test one finds that the 4x bridles the performances of the new GPU. Otherwise I congratulate the engineers from Alienware for the speakers part because frankly they sound good, but at the electonics this is not right. I suggest the use of a high-end DAC 24 or 32 bits with audiophile capacitors (Wima for example) then one amp for the right channel and another for the left, allon a pcb mechanically insulated (plate in aluminum to limit interference). For audio outputs it would be necessary to separate microphone and audio then propose 2 outputs jack 3.5mm (gold plated) with the function "balanced" but also a spdif output. If not for the software, keep thet of Nahimic audio, it is well thought out. It is a shame to have to buy an external USB DAC (that one can not connect because more usb free) which makes us lose the binaural sound of Nahimic. To continue the Alienware they always have unique designs with hyper premium materials BUT it would be great to change the disign of the power supply as the competition (evga or razer) would reinforce the unusual character of the Alienware whth a unique charger in his genre !!! Finally, with the evolution of the technology, it would be claver to make your screens evolve towards Quantums Dots and HDR 10, whether for IPS or even TN It would be good if the model 17 is eqipped with an OLED slab like the 13, with in addition a screen refreshing top and a latency adapted to the competiton. Thank you for listening to me. Iknow this message will never be taken seriously by DELL and Alienware. But if you can at least put more usb this would already by great. We like this brand but we have the impression that it loses in innovation against the competition for 2years, reenter you I beg you and deployed the flag at the head of Alien ;) !!!
Ever since I played Battlefield 3 there's a AlienFX when you play the game which looks awesome! However, since battlefield 1 doesn't have one I really like it to be supported similar to battlefield 3!
what about making laptops with mods like adding mod for games , hard works , long batteries and office mods
I'm Hazem Essam, a computer science student at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST) Abuqir campus in Egypt/Alexandria.I am one from the biggest fans of alienware and i would like to make something big with alienware in my country and to be more specific i want to make it in my college, I loved this idea when i saw many clubs and student ambassadors in my college like google student ambassador or firefox club and student ambassador and it's really great and gives great population for these students and what they represent and so i get a new idea to make it different not with google or firefox or anything like this i want to make it about gaming and laptops and alienware products that would be different because we are talking about different technologies and products not only web technologies but hardware and gaming so it will be great specially i love alienware so i will work hard for it and make a great population for it and the idea will be as the following to make student ambassadors represent alienware in many places not only my college and alienware club which make many things like sessions about products or technologies or gaming sessions and i will be the alienware club chairman in my college and to get the students by interview and organizing sessions and all of this.
I think there should be a way for gamers to play for long periods of times without charging. This would make it similar to a desktop in a way. What if the power supply had a switch or some kind of mechanism to switch from charging to stationery? It would have to do this in a efficient manor and not be faulty. I'm not sure if this is possible and I don't know if it could charge and power the system simultaneously. I think that is a fire hazard but with the right parts it could be possible and safe. Thank you
I like to request for Dell to consider bringing back its ultraportable 11.6" gaming line; a true sequel to the legendary M11x.The market availability of unique 11.6" gaming laptops is now void since Dell discontinued the M11x a few years ago, and I am sure there are gamers out there who are hoping for a return of such portable gaming device that truly suits the need of "work and play".Perhaps you can name it Alienware 11. Give it an option to be equipped with Intel Core i5 or i7. Equip it with latest capable mid range graphics chip such as Nvidia Gtx 950M / 960M. For 11.6" device, I believe 1080p screen is unnecessary, but perhaps you can provide an option of 1600x900 screen. Due to being a true portable gaming device, emphasis should be given on the battery life. Give it a high capacity battery, and an option of adding an external sheet battery to keep the laptop going strong. Make the laptop a bit thinner & lighter than its predecessor. Keep the price at an affordable level so this laptop can compete with the larger gaming laptops, and I am sure this new device will be a new legend among gaming laptops.
I think it would be awesome if Alienware sell smartphones or tablets for gaming, Android is not a big deal, but i like the idea of keeping your games and social in your pocket, also i like Alienware design for products.
Hi, I was recently looking at Razer's blade stealth and to be honest I'm quite impressed.....by the keyboard ligthing. I was also looking at lenovos upcomming y900...and I was quite impressed.....by the keyboard lighting...Both these laptops have implemented rgb customisable lighting that's never been seen on a laptop...with waves, raibows, touch and ripple effects...both have extremely customisable options. Alienware's lighting system is a trademark of their systems....it's quintessential! However other manufactures have taken, what once was a unique selling point and made it even better. So my idea would be to implement more lighting configurability, (not sure if per key lighting is feasable but it'd be a welcome addition)...but the basics (like the one stated above would be adequate. Lenovo have also implemented a mechanical keyboard into their y900 without the extra bulk, that'd be another welcome feature on alienware's machines. So how do they go about doing this ? well, they could either do it in house....or (what I was hoping they'd do) was partner with Roccat (who they are currently partnering with when it comes to periferals)...You could work with Roccat to design a great customisable (hopefully mechanical) rbg backlit keyboard. That's the ideawhat do you think ? Thanks :)
Dust is a pretty big deal in a laptop...simply because, in most cases, the laptop moves. So why not implment a dust filtration system, or removable dust pad that can be cleaned. Basically to make cleaning alot easier and to increase the overall lifespan of components. And it's an additional feature to market ;P
