I want to buy an ultrabook, but it lacks a good audio system. It's kind of hard to get both in a system but would be great to get both.
Nowadays, Most of the touchpads are in 1 piece (with button) and they are bigger than ever. However, that brings another problem when user tries to write. My hand goes to the touch pad several times and clicks without me noticing. Maybe I have a big hand. Anyway, we need a small button to lock the touch pad so we can write without any interuption.
Nowadays, most of the models has a battery indicator either on the left or right side of the laptop. It's good to know the remaining of the battery without lifting the laptop upside down and looking at the battery. However, indicator should be located at the front. Because, I put my laptop to the bag, and I want to be able to see the remaining battery without removing it from the bag. Laptop fits in the bag, so in order to check the battery level I have to remove it from the bag.
Not a very groundbreaking idea, but please consider certifying E6540 for use with Windows 8. Now that E6530 is going EOL we need a successor.
Please either allow customization options for the new E6540 or at a bare minium offer more pre-built options for the i5 processor.Currently the only options for the i5 include 4 GB of RAM and a standard hard drive.Ideally I would like to purchase more RAM (8 GB) and include the hybrid drive as well. For my road warrior users there is no option to add a broadband card, this must change before I can purchase this product.
I dont want to talk long story about what I think and how it works, I will just show couple of images to you and explain!1.vehicle working principleEveryone knows that if we put 2 same charged sides of magnet together, they will push away from each other. But if we make some same charged air under magnet, then magnet will push away from it! I dont know, is there grafit wire allready exist or not, but that magnet would be deffinetly the most powerful magnet in the World and not heavy! Grafit wire have not electric resistance, so i dont know is that kind of cooling needed (-273 C). And what interesting properties it can create under such cooling. For ionization we can use not only laser beam, but also electrik spark with many thousands VOLTS, but it would eat alot of energy.2.vehicle bottom and sideBottom have many magnets for maneuverability. We can make one side more more effectively and other stop working to make vehicle turn and stop.
Dell should create a BIOS that allows you to go back to a previous version. If there are issues with the newer version, then you can flash the BIOS and go back to a previous version. There are some systems that the new BIOS created problems and if the person could go back to a previous version, the problem would not be there.Rick

Hi everyone,Just a bunch of ideas for the Alienware Laptops line of computers...1/ Bringing back the 11 inches model would be cool ! (almost every 11 inches laptops on the market available are ultrabooks that are not made for gaming or render intensive work experiences which is really sad to me because the Alienware m11x R3 was a killer machine !)2/ Bringing back the nebula red color option for all the laptops because that was AWESOME !...3/ ... And why not offer a bit more color options for the chassis ?4/ Adding (at least) one Thunderbolt Port on the machines could be awesome (and I would personnaly use that).5/ What about IGZO based screens ?That's all I have for now but I think it would be AWESOME !Take care,Bast'6
Looking at the market presently, there is not an option (apart from the Lenovo Yoga ) with 13 inches high resolution machines, but Lenovo option is quite lagging on the graphics card.Dell inovative and high technical capability could solve this gap in the market, by fitting on the XPS 13 a dedicated graphics card ( similar to XPS 15 ) and the same resolution display. As an structural engineer consultant, having a 13 inch power horse was perfect, since all client have external monitors that we can connect to.Kind regardsDaniel

I believe that Alienware systems should come default with a TPM.If your going to pay $4k for a laptop, you should secure it just the same.Precision laptops come with them and Alienware should be no exception.--LANMAN
