How can I bring my idea/prototype to life through Dell laptop manufacturing?

Laptop computers are supposed to be easy to use and convient right? I am in sales and spend a lot of my time on both desktop and laptop computers all day.  When I get home I like to relax with my family.  Lay down, watch a movie, or relax on the couch.  Have you ever tried to type an email or type for a long period of time on a laptop.  Not the easiest and most convient.  I have a solution as well as a protype that I would like to contact Dell with.  I think it is innovative and should and will be implemented in their laptop computer manufactures, It is the next biggest idea to come to laptop computers.  I have done hours and hours upon research of this idea.  There is nothing like this on the market.   People close to me as well as local business individuals think it is an amazing idea and it is the next big thing to come to laptop computers.  How do I make this great idea become a reality?  I am biased to dell computers, I have always had a Dell computer my whole life.  I am looking for suggestions on how to contact Dell and to try to bring this amazing idea/prototype to life.  Thank you for any and all feedback! # Great Idea # Need help or the right connection

Finger scan to allow easier access into the computer

So I was just about to log into my computer to complete a homework assignment when I though to myself, my password is incredibily too long. What if there were a way to get in and out the computer faster without having to type out the full password? Suggestion What if Dell can incorporate the finger print technology used in most smartphones today into the trackpad of the computer? So when a user needs to quickly acess the computer they can simply press their finger onto a designated area of the trackpad and the computer scans the finger print to allow quick acess to the computer. It would be a really cool feautre that I wouldn't mind having on my computer simply because I wouldn't have to type out my password everytime when logging on to use the computer. I think if possible this could be a really cool and unique feature to incorporate into a design of a laptop.

Last week April 08 2015 I got a first quote for our Customer a new SVR320 Server. The process is not yet finished by now April 14 2015. Observations: a) Neither the right sales person or his manager phones been provided even after a repeated E-Mail requests; b) Tried to contact DELL management in regard to the quote last week on the phone. Operator promised a call back in about two hours - no call back yet in over 2 business days; c) For the last few years it becomes more and more difficult to get a right quote in a realistic time-frame; d) Sales person tried to include into the quote the unrequited options for about Eur. 500.00 and it took a few E-Mails to remove them; Suggestions based on the observations in the process of obtaining the right quote for the right price: 1) Quote should contain a valid phone number for the sales person; 2) Quote should contain a valid phone number of the sales person manager; 3) www.dell.ie should provide a reliable local DELL office phone number and a reference number should be given to a call; Thank you for your care, Boris

Commenting Improvements

I have noticed a few issues with commenting: Comment reporting is broken.Double-posting is really easy. At least for me, IdeaStorm tends to run very slowly, and if a user clicks the submit button again while waiting for the comment to post, the comment will be reposted. There are a couple of options to combat this: check for close-proximity identical comments and ignore all but one, or have a timer before a new comment is posted (not necessarily as effective but more annoying).Email notifications are sent out for a user's comments on his own ideas. Very annoying.Comments are not editable (this also goes for ideas). A way to self-edit a comment to fix typos etc. would be very useful, even if there was a 15 minute limit on doing so.

Incorporate QI wireless charging into laptops for wireless enabled smart phones.

If your smart phone has the capability for wireless charging, there should be the ability to charge your smart phone while you are using your laptop without the need for messy wires and cables. The charge pad would be located just under the keypad and either to the right or left of the mousepad. This would also provide a way to charge your phone in an emergency if you don't have a phone charger but have your laptop on you as most people tend to do.

15.6" Laptops that don't have numeric keypads

Can you please make 15.6" laptops that don't have numeric keypads? As a programmer and writer, numeric keypads make it much harder to type as it makes the all the other keys pushed to the left, along with the enter key being in the middle of the keyboard so it's harder to find  and the trackpad being pushed to the left so it's harder to use the mouse. I haven't used a numeric keypad in years and everyone else I know hasn't used them in over 10 years. As 99.9% of new laptops have numeric keypads nowadays after hours of searching online, I had to buy a used laptop off eBay that doesn't have one, resulting in Dell losing money.
