Eventually surface pro 3 (12") product line could dominate the office.. It can really replace your current office Laptop.People like travelling on light load. But it needs few more improvement. When on the road (Not in table of your office)1) Better Key board (Look at Logitech thin keyboard)2) Thin mouse dockable within the unit (Look at Mogo mouse and Arc touch mouse).. Tough challege to insert in thin tablet though. I have an idea but it will still be tough.3) Design with protective back cover and Attached keyboard in mind. Who buys expensive tablet/laptop and does not want to have protective cover? Include this in docking station consideration design.Or just do similar to Toshiba Dynadock. But irregardless of docking station, design the product with protective back cover and Attached keyboard in mind.4) I want at least 2 USB when I am on the road.
Categories: Mobile Devices,
I have a Inspiron 7000 Series 7537 and I noticed the PowerShare USB port is on the opposite side as the AC adapter port. To me, it makes a lot more sense to keep them on the same side so I can charge my laptop and my phone (via the PowerShare port) when my laptop is in a backpack. Otherwise, either the AC cord or the USB cable has to be on the bottom of the backpack which is obviously bad for them.Thank you,David

Hi all,I've been using a refurbished Dell for several years and have found that, despite having great performance, my computer often struggles with connecting to certain networks - especially those that are widely used in public spaces. There are of course many solutions to this that a well-versed user can come up with themselves - this doesn't solve the problem for the average user however.I believe that Dell should develop a program or application that comes naturally on their devices to help identify problems with connectivity and instantly offer ways to correct them. This feature would:1. Attempt to identify if there are any physical barriers preventing the device from receiving signal2. Give users the ability to refresh their IP address3. Locate the nearest wireless signal and put it on a map4. Most importantly, this feature should be easily readable by an unknowledgeable user - most users don't really know the terminology (what is the encryption type? what are likely problems impeding internet access? how do I access Internet settings? how can I prioritize the order in which devices are connected? and so on...)The most important feature here is clarity of language and a central location for addressing Internet related issues. I believe that this feature would be succesful as no other computer has this feature and it is customer focused. The main reason we use computers is to access the Internet (in my opinion) so let's make it an easier process.I also think this would be an easily marketable feature. Dell used to focus on how awesome it was for young people to get one - making the most important feature (access to Internet) easier to understand is a benefit that would incredibly appealing.- A. Imagine a phone/tablet screen that you can project and use to navigate your device. With the ability to interact with the phone through the projection, it would be revolutionary.May you ask, how does this work?A built in the projector will blow subtle air on a flat surface and project an image on the said surface. When you tap or touch the projection, your phone/tablet will sense the disturbance in the air and will enable interaction by calculating where your finger is positioned through motion.I hope this idea can be developed for I know that this would change the face of phone/tablet technology forever.Yours faithfully,Jay Thacker
