Revolutionize the laptop keyboard!

Wed Jul 22 22:14:35 GMT 2015 - Jul 22, 2015

That's understandable...it would be nice if they could situate the trackpad on the right side of the keyboard (under the keys) if it's not possible to fit it beside the keys. It would be easier to navigate if the trackpad were in a more natural position. I work from home and I like to move around the house when working (to prevent back/neck pain.) I hate having to haul my stuff around all day (extra monitor, mouse, speaker.) I'd love to have a lightweight but powerful laptop with the trackpad on the right and quality audio, but I haven't found anything yet.

New twist on a keyboard

What would make this really interesting would be if you could use the voice to text capabilities of the phone as well.

I like this, but I think a smaller screen would be better, and the 7MP front-facing cam is probably overkill.

@BJFox I agree the answer Dell has given is very unfortunate.

From a consumer point of view a product (Alienware 18) that is designed for extreme performance and is advertised to deliver a certain degree most definitely should deliver. I find it appauling how Dell released a statement how the current bios revision (A10) there is no problems reported! There IS problems, the fan tables are not optimal and take a minimum of 5 seconds to kick on at which point the CPU temperature has spiked and throttled due to the fan delay. Additionally this being a performance oriented machine we need access to the hidden bios features to implement the proper overclock.
