Hello, I have got a very good idea to make DELL Be the most successful company And Most Profitable In the whole market.Here Are Some steps that the Company Need To Take:-1) Michael Dell Should Close his deal with The Silver Lake partners and take the FULL company Under Him rather than any shares.2) Rename The Company From "Dell Computer Corporation" To "Dell Corporation".3) Create Partnership With Five Companies:-     i) Intel Corporation     ii) NVIDIA Corporation     iii) Microsoft Corporation     iv) Seagate Technology     v) Corsair Memory Corporation4) Make All The Dell products with Genuine Corsair Memory, Genuine Seagate HDD, Genuine Intel SDD, Genuine Intel Wi-Fi.5) Name All The Dell Products With Even Number NOT With Odd Number.As Follows:-i) Inspiron:-Inspiron 12, Inspiron 14, Inspiron 15, Inspiron 16, Inspiron 18, Inspiron 20 Etcii) XPSXPS 10, XPS 12, XPS 14, XPS 15, XPS 16, XPS 18, XPS 20iii) AlienwareAlienware M10X, Alienware M12X, Alienware M14X, Alienware M15X, Alienware M16X, Alienware M18X, AlienwareM20X6) Change Alienware Products Shape And Make Them Silk Finish and Mettalic Touch With A Compact Shape.7) Change The Websites With As Follows :-Main- http://www.dell.comStore- http://store.dell.comSupport- http://support.dell.comCommunity- http://community.dell.com8) Change The Dell Websites Look And font And Make it As Apple Website.9) Ship The Dell Products With Kaspersky Antivirus and NOT With McAfee Products.10) Change The Startup Dell Splash Screen Logo Of All Dell Products To a HD And more compact Logo.That's All, Hope Michael Dell And other Dell Board Of Directors will read my Ideas and make DELL the most powerful, Profitable And Successful Company in the market.Thanks.....................

dell inspirion hard drive removal.

i own an inspirion 14/14z, and i must say, it is impossible to access the hard drive without taking the laptop completely apart. not only is this highly unusual, but it also not a smart idea. i risk voiding my warranty just to replace a HDD? thats insane! i have never before seen laptop that had a hard drive inaccessable from the bottom. maybe back in the 80s or 902(before my time), but as of 2013?! this type of thing quite frankly, is unacceptable. people risk breaking thier laptops just to switch out an HDD. not cool dell. i love dell and alienware, i expect better honestly.dell needs to make it known on the webpages of these laptops, that the hard drive is not removeable from the bottom. this is a deal breaker for me. had i known this was the case, i would have NEVER bought this laptop. the alienware m14(which i also own), is much easier to take out the hard drive than the 14r.suppose what do i do if i have to back up this hard drive now? or replace it if it dies? dell should do an external HDD promo for people who buy this model, because it would be eaiser to back up the drive from time to time rather than replace it.

Just seen your "alternate" world advert on t.v. Train caught my eye BUT......please, please use English english. We say ALTERNATIVE...alternate means something entirely different. Would put me off buying things from a sloppy company!!

BEWARE IF ORDERING SSD BOOT DRIVEI just ordered a brand new M14x from Dell with 750gb HDD and the 128gb SSD Boot drive option (which adds about £300) with the top i7 processor etc etc, in total spending £1,950 on the system. When the machine arrived the operating system was installed on the 750gb HDD as the boot drive (not the specified SSD), I queried this with Dell as it was clearly not what I ordered (including asking if I ordered another one if I would get the same problem - as they were refunding and picking up the current machine) only to get the following response..."Our manufacturing team is currently investigating this internally and has not advised the concrete details on the issue with the configuration. We wouldn’t be able to advise at the moment whether the machine you would be placing, if the OS would be installed on the SSD drive or on the standard HDD."When I asked if the offered 'next day in-home' support or any of their engineers could fix this or just swap the operating system on to the correct drive they simply ignored me, they have arranged for my currently laptop to be picked up and refunded (which is all well and good), but it would appear Dell cannot build the 'SSD Boot drive' option as advertised on their site.They seem pretty happy to just refund the money and have the system returned which would suggest they simply can't build that option... it would appear they don't need my £2k or business.So if you're thinking of getting the SSD boot drive option I would suggest going else where or learning to do it yourself if you are going to order from Dell.

Bring back the Design Studio

Look. You're the only company that sold any kind of shell customization for a long time. The Design Studio idea (along with your Project Red designs) were so incredibly innovative, that no one could match them and so far--no one has. I have an old 2009 laptop with a permanent Design Studio lid that I happily shelled out an extra $85/$89 dollars for. And I still love it. And it still gets stares. And questions. And me referring people to you.Fast forward to 2013.The switch lid idea is AWESOME. I love it. And it looks like you did offer the Design Studio lids for a little while, but now there is only solid colors. Well guess what? EVERYONE offers color options now. Sony, HP--pretty much every one of your mainstream competitors. -But no one is doing custom artwork. Not even you, apparently.You want to sell more computers? Give us back this option. (And not just a complimentary Skin-It). In fact, start giving this option for a desktop too (interchangeable faceplate?) and just watch me buy a matching set. Put it on your higher-end model if you want, but in this world where HP's and Toshiba's come dirt cheap, I'd make sure to keep some options open for the lower-end models too (Keep it on the 15R models, if you like).Customization is the new coin of the realm. People want things tailored to their individual style and needs and while not everyone is looking for a color, or art; the ones that are will definitely shell out for it (especially students--I bought mine as a student and I used it to establish part of my identity as a graphic artist).My Inspiron 1545 is a great machine, but the fact that I can't get another one like it (as far as design goes) is making me not upgrade right now. -Just saying.

Dell should consider partnering with Google to become their exclusive OEM. The Google eco-system rocks and will in time put both Apple and Microsoft on the ropes. Take a look!
