We could visualize auch and ultimate laptops with infine battery and highest speed we tend ourself to limit with word that there couldn't be any of such devices. Indeed when I started to think about it I do had the many problems to complete the hypothetical device without any theoretical fault. Back almost half a year ago: I was preparing for the exam when I had my eye over Seebeck engine. It was intresting that while other devices waste their energy over heat it do use the heat to produce energy: but as with second law of thermodynamics we have that no machine is ideal, neither does the Seebeck engine, it do conduct some heat then only producing electricity. But since the engine have the same form of energy in exhaust and input hence we can use multiple engine simultaniously to attain the required efficiency > 50% now in our sytem the cores of laptop or mobile is in the sink inside cover of Seebeck engine. Now the cores are maintained at vero low temperature than environ where we could have superconductor. Now with conducted energy will be less then converted hence some part of the energy produced will be used for maintaining the same internal energy and another fraction to the calculations, and all computer stuffs.

Alienware m14x Left hinge consecutively breaking on multiple machines

I think Dell should pay more intrest in this topic because many people have this problem. If you are going to pay upwards of 1500$ for a gaming machine, I believe it should be durable and last. The problem is the left hinge on the Alienware M14x will break after "unusual wear and tear" as dell employees call it. This problem will occur after 15-30 months aprox. I have had my M14x for over 2 years and today I woke up and I opened my computer screen and i heard a crack followed by the left hinge breaking. Dell continuously gives the tech support to the costomers saying they need to pay 340$ to totally replace the lcd portion on the computer. As a student, I know that some people do not have very deep pockets. The hinge usually encounters slightly more resistance over time and eventuallu it gives, due to the stress. They did a total recall for this problem on the M11x. As we know the M14x has a larger customer base and yet with all these people with the same problem, Dell will still not fix this problem. Thier online liaison stated that the hinge being broken is wear and tear.No. The Complete Care Coverage warranty does not cover wear and tear. Covered = * Liquid spilled on or in unit * Drops, falls, and other collisions * Electrical surge Not covered = * Intentional acts of damage done by you or anyone else * Fire * Theft or loss * Normal wear and tear (hinges, bent AC adapter cabling, keyboard keys) * Consumables (batteries, LEDs) Liaison for Alienware and Monitors. Let me know on this thread if you need additional assistance. I dont know what the rest of the community makes of this problem but, suddenly one day the hinge breaking and not being able to close the screen on my machine without doing further damage, does not sound like normal wear and tear to me. For professional users, provide an option to get 16:10 format or 3:2 for the screen.What matter for us is high quality screen, excellent led backlight with decent physical _height_ because we program, design, use office suite and very little video.I'm not speaking of pixel resolution BUT physical aspect ration.I have a m4400 upgraded with an SSD and I'm just hoping not to need to buy a mac book pro just because they provide laptop with good aspect ratio for WORK...

Hello, I just saw Alienware's newly unveiled line of gaming laptops the Alienware 14, 17, and 18 on the the updated Alienware site.I've been in the market for a new gaming laptop and was considering an Alienware, especially since it was one of the few gaming laptops that I could get in red. But I heard that there was a new product refresh coming so I waited. Upon looking at new models, I noticed that the two other body color options, "nebula red" and black don't seem to be available.I asked one of the Alienware reps via chat when I could expect to be able to build an Alienware 17 in Nebula red, and he replied that unfortunately the new models aren't going to come in anything but the default silver.This is ...disappointing to say the least. I think that Alienware should strongly consider retaining the color choices that were available on the outgoing laptop models, for the new gaming laptops that they just unveiled.

Ability to disable usage of battery of a laptop in office when connected to Docking station

HI,I would like to present an idea in which if a software is developed which can actually disable the usage of battery when connected to the docking station and connect the laptop to a DC power supply as soon as you unplug the diocking station the battery should come up, it can gradually increase the battery life and also will avoid overcharging of Battery hence enhancing the battery life of laptop.

ALIENWARE X51 R3 - something small just got bigger!
The ALIENWARE X 51 R2 is a much wanted and needed update, but I will dare to say that there is still room for improvement. The road to perfection is long and cumbersome and to get there one needs to do more than improve upon the internals of the model. So... Here are my suggestions for further refinement:_____________________________________________DESIGNMaintain the same design, but make the chassis a bit bigger and add more airflow holes with the same grill design as on the current unit. I go more in detail about this under ”COOLING”. Add metal instead of shiny plastic to improve the build quality of the front of the unit. Alternatively, the front can be made out of matte plastic instead. Shiny plastic is more prone to scratch marks and fingerprints and ruins the aesthetics of the ALIENWARE X51, in my opinion._____________________________________________PSUThis is the area that needs the most attention for the rest of the package to be possible. 330W is simply not enough for a power hungry gaming machine. A PSU does not need to become a behemoth in order to be able to offer more power. A bump to 600W would allow even a GTX 780 to be added, if the new unit is better at keeping the internals cool. If you managed to make your own 600W PSU with an even smaller form factor compared to the ones already out on the market, it would sure impress many people. Since small form factor PCs are becoming more and more popular, just look at HTPCs, it would be an investment.The 600W should be standard on every model to improve the upgradability and appeal to PC enthusiasts and PC builders. I thought of a more compact version of XG’s Magnum 600 without the LCD._____________________________________________COOLINGPlease use a combination of copper and graphene for cooling - its 25% more efficient and cheaper than copper! This will both save money and do a better job than copper alone can ever do. Adding the same mix to the cooling solution of the GPU would make sense. To make the unit quieter, add a more effective and quieter CPU fan and GPU fan. To top it off, make quality thermal compound a standard feature on ALIENWARE products. It would give a lot of positive PR and lower temperatures.Make the chassis a tad bigger for better airflow. Especially the area where the GPU is stationed should be a bit bigger so it is easier to fit a larger card there without it getting too tight and hot inside the case. The chassis could be 2 cm deeper and 2 cm higher without the size becoming a problem. There is also a possibility to get better airflow by adding hidden holes around the ALIENWARE FX areas on the side. It would be nice with several, new and hidden areas where air can enter the chassis._____________________________________________GPUWith this model, there will be enough power and good enough cooling for the customer to add at least a nVIDIA GTX 770, and maybe even a GTX 780, depending on how much the cooling has improved._____________________________________________SOUNDI know that ALIENWARE products come with MaxxAudio software, but in order to offer a better sound experience, hardware is needed. A small chip from e.g. Creative or ASUS on the motherboard or a small, added chip would do wonders and make sense as this system is meant for serious gaming while offering HTPC possibilities._____________________________________________

Big brother to the XPS 11

HiYou've recently shown off a prototype of the XPS 11 where the cover/keyboard flips back to allow the device to become a tablet, similar to the Lenovo design. While everyone is wowed by haswell and the 1440p screen, I'm thinking you need to make a similar device but a big brother in a 13.3" size that uses something akin to the 1080 screen on the XPS 13. Why "akin"? Well you should make it touch enabled and pen enabled, much like the XPS 11. But while a 1440p 13.3 would be nice, certainly something of the quality of the 13.3 1080p would be suitable as well. I say this because the time for this device is now, so better get crackin. If you wait till Christmas, someone else will have already run with this idea.

ALIENWARE X51 wireless?

i would like to add two things to this machine.which is a network card with bluetooth adapter ans wihd transmitter, since i believe there r small enough to fit in and we can find it in most laptop. furthermore x51 has limited usb port, rather then wasting it to plug in a dongle n a external wihd transmitter. now lcd we have wireless, even bluetooth keyboard, mouse, headset and speaker we can get it anywhere or maybe dell can produce it's own to package it.less wired, so that we can design the space better? or even to place it in a safety place to reduce the accident like water spill, or maybe we can even hide it in the drawer(IF the cooling system have improved from idea of rocket stigtrix) so we make sure nobody gonna touch or disturb it. depending on people preferanceimagine x51 a small machine with less wired i can just put where i want, i like, i love, and i happy withso why not a first 99% wireless gaming desktop from alienware?but obviously 1% goes to power supplyi guess that's it thanks for reading

IMPOSSIBLE -_- ) 5) IPS DISPLAY FULL HD WITH 3D ( If you people have implemented IPS, though 3D should be given preference if IPS is not available with 3D)6) Blu Ray disk ( duh! )7) Windows 8 8) Killer Wireless9) Some freebies!
