The easiest way to solve this problem would be to lock your top executives in a room without the scissors, razor blades, hammers and flamethrowers that are needed to unpack computers, speakers etc and not let them out till it is done or they pass out from hypertension. Excessive, overly secure packaging can be attacked from an environmental point of view, but right now, I just want to be able to get my stuff without cursing in front of small children..... stop the madness! Status Update: See our latest blog post on our reduced packaging strategy here.

Could investigate use of alternate/natural materials to build computers. The engine should be regular materials of course, but the casing housing it could be bamboo - very resistant and light material, as well as communicating a totally "eco-friendly" message to consumers. No one else is doing it. Status Update Please see Vida_K's comment below

Dell! Look you can not only get on the Green bandwagon but the anti-microbial health conscious bandwagon with the first Anti-Microbial Keyboard! Buy out InduMedical's Anti-Microbial keyboard with Microban® protection and rebrand it with a similarly light blue Dell Logo. This is great for Healthcare, Business, Schools, and even Home use! These can be used at any kiosk computer as well to prevent the spreading of any cooties. This will get Dell in the medical journals as being cutting edge in health well being!
