Hi AllI purchased a DELL Inspiron 1510 Laptop in year 2010. I was bit apprehensive of choosing DELL at the first instance as there were many brands available and i was unaware of Service quality of DELL.The Laptop i purchased got damaged within a week as the screen was damaged while handling, i broke down with fear that i lost all my money and talked to customer care person, fortunately i took 3 years complete accidental cover for my laptop. To my amaze, the laptop screen was replaced within a week, and it was my first good experience with DELL. Had it been other supplier must have either denied or deferred stating that this things are not covered, or you have to pay this or so. Last 3 years of experience has changed my view of DELL, now i am deadly fan of DELL equipments.I feel myself lucky that i purchased DELL laptop. Hope to get service from DELL in ensuing years as well as i got in past yearsRegards

I find the 1366x768 resolution and the general screen quality of the Latitude E6230, E6330 and E6430s extremely disappointing in such an expensive machine. At least give the option of higher resolution and quality.

The Logitech headset I purchased to use with Dragon, came equiped with a two ended plug. They are color coded, green for speaker and pink for microphone. The plug in`s on the side of the AIO`s, don`t have the color disc`s around them and it is hard to see the little icons. The average consumer will have to turn the AIO around to see the icons and plug in their headset. If Dell could put those colored disc`s around the ports, we would have a much easier time using Dragon.

The "dot" key on all keyboards is one of the most used. Make the "dot" key white, so it will stand out, with a black dot on it for easier identification.... I do this on my keyboards with a small piece of adhesive white tape.

Hello. I just purchased the XPS 18 and I love it. I think that you should recreate a case with an integrated keyboard and stand...similar to the iPad. I see that the XPS 18 is heavier than the iPad so it would take more innovation but I am sure it can be done. Being that the XPS is is wider than the keyboard that it comes with, you could make the case with an integreated keyboard and a trackpad next to it. The width of the keyboard aid trackpad aside it should be about the same width as the XPS 18 right?

surely there's a laptop out there that can't be beaten? perhaps one with great specks and not a single down-side? Idea-a laptop that really is the best, perhaps with the following specks:-Cost below £2000, not everyone has a massive wallet.-large screen, over 15", look more toward the 17-19" mark-long battery life that doesnt wear out over time, if it's 5+ hours, let it stay that way 'till it dies, not be down to 1 hour in less than a year-good cooling system, most laptops have a big problem with over-heating, place components in good places and have more than 1 fan, perhaps even a "breathable" keyboard, backlit keyboard=bonus-a lot of memory/storage, 120GB, 7200rpm hard drive, a Duo core processor and at least 2GB of RAM-at least 4 speedy usb ports-blue-ray/re-writable dvd drive-HDMI port, to connect it to the TV at will-good quality webcam and microphone-windows 7-wireless broadband access built-in, to keep people from being tethered to Wi-Fi hotspots-advanced 3D graphic chips, along with 512MB of dedicated graphics memory-Great sound system-3 year warrenty, a good laptop should last at least 3-5 years.it'd be great if it looked nice too, such as the alienwares, but less chunky, and have a cool name, like... Wolf, or wolvenware or something. I'd buy one for sure!

Alienware m18x are one of the best laptop in the market , i will recommend to provide 3d displays like alienware m17x in 18x because m18x is much better in terms of performance than m17x and only the 3d display is missing in m18x , increase its price if it costs more .

I'm assuming it's going to be refreshed with Haswell/Core 4000 series. What I more or less require for the high end skus (i5/i7) Iris or Iris Pro graphics Make the dock stand a proper dock with gigabit ethernet, additional monitors, usb ports, etc (or make it an optional more expensive dock/stand) Thunderbolt and/or hdmi/displayport for a second monitor (possibly in the dock) 256 and 512GB ssd options I would like to replace a 17" desktop replacement laptop with the xps 18 tablet/all-in-one. Laptops are getting smaller these days... and I like the mobility, but I like larger keyboards and mice so if I can keep a decent screen size (18" vs 13-15" for a nice laptop) and just skip the laptop keyboard/trackpad altogether it seems like a win to me. I always prefer wired ethernet though (see dock) and use at least one additional monitor (again dock) and do occasionally play some games (iris/iris pro) and do some couch web browsing (tablet). Ideally I could remove the tablet from the stand/dock without having to unplug all the usb devices/additional monitor(s). I don't want a usb->hdmi conversion like some of these usb3 docks are doing, I'd much prefer a true external monitor connection.Other nice to haves Possibly a higher res option (like 2560x1600) wacom digitizer

The R3 is a fine computer and runs Windows 7 Ultimate x64 brilliantly.Sadly though, this 13 month old computer is not currently supported by Dell to run Windows 8 including Pro.It would be great if Dell could certify the Alienware Aurora R3 for use with Windows 8.Currently Windows 8 will hang on a R3 during warm boots. This can happen during and after install of Windows 8. The only work-around is to power the computer off and on where the computer boots into Windows 8 without incident.Thank-you.
