Thank you for posting 3rotor. Do you have a work around for homes and businesses that are not currently wired with RJ45 to all the areas that they may want to use a device powered through that port?
Thank you for posting pepgentoo. Don't worry the title clearly signals that you were talking about the Precision line. I think the biggest reason for the aspect changes across the industry is due to the manufacturers of the displays switching to aspect ratios that are more cost effective. What do you feel is an acceptable price difference for a system that uses a 16:10 or 4:3 screen?
well battery life isn't real a deal breaker for me, I'd be docked most of the time or near a power source. I'm assuming with some careful component selection for ssd, screen, wireless adapters, etc and some aggressive power management you can get 5+ hours for basic stuff. Its going to get compared to other tablets though, so as completely unfair as that may be given the specs, if you can get 8 hours battery life without being too much heavier, it would certainly review better. Not sure if that's possible. I'm not expecting 8 hours on a core i7.
I agree with peyushsaini completely. I absolutely love the XPS 15, and I'm planning on getting one for college, but it needs a touch screen before I buy it. There's no reason why it doesn't have one already, and since there are 12" and 18" XPS touch screen devices, there's no reason why the XPS 15 doesn't alredy have a touch screen
