Thank you for posting dfrandin. I understand your frustration as I took a look at my own service tag after reading your idea. My thinking is that the main point of the tool is to provide the part numbers in case you need to order a replacement rather than providing details such as processor speed and hard drive size. Still, I agree that is could be a little easier to read.
Thank you for posting Rebel333. I too think the new AMD line up is pretty interesting. I look forward to seeing some true comparison to Intel's offerings by one of the respected tech sites. My main concern is the performance/power consumption ratio.
What are your thoughts on the extra graphics processing power on systems that may not be used for gaming?
I would love to see this in Alienware notebooks. I feel its a feature Alienware notebooks noticabely lack, and something that is sorely needed. Precision laptops have it, why not high-end gaming laptops too?
Very solid Idea, Beautiful screens are always a must and it seems alienware has started to get away from this. Hope to see some new suprises in the next set of revisions.
Thanks! This kind of option would be most appreciated. I know you are using the word "or" in the logical sense, which does not preclude "higher-gamut" and "IPS. Thanks for clarifying that in your post at NBR.
Thank you for posting 3rotor. Do you have a work around for homes and businesses that are not currently wired with RJ45 to all the areas that they may want to use a device powered through that port?
Thank you for posting pepgentoo. Don't worry the title clearly signals that you were talking about the Precision line. I think the biggest reason for the aspect changes across the industry is due to the manufacturers of the displays switching to aspect ratios that are more cost effective. What do you feel is an acceptable price difference for a system that uses a 16:10 or 4:3 screen?
