I keep getting a site error on the forums and blogs. Sorry, there was a problem with your last request! Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too. Status Update The sites are back online

We need to be able to find out what new updates we have. At present there is no way to find this out. On Ideastorm the new updates are highlighted, until we click on them to read. The forum and blogs desperately need this feature tot. Status Update: This idea was implemented.

Even clicking the links here give the following error screen.

A few of issues need to be fixed with the log in for IdeaStorm. 1. The site forgets my log in information. While it might not be a large problem for those who log in once a day it is a huge pain for others. 2. The area for inputing your username and password are already populated. We shouldn't have to delete out the words "username" and "password" in order to enter our log in. This also causes problems with password saving and form filler programs. 3. The log in actually occurs off site. We don'tt actually log into IdeaStorm but some SalesForce security program. Cross scripting is a pain and bogs down the lsite's oad times. 4. We still do not have a universal log in for the Dell Community sites. You would think that since IdeaStorm and the other community sites were upgraded within weeks of each other Dell would have made they had a single log in.

Dell must be using a Salesforce platform for the new community sites (forums, Direct2Dell etc) because it is seriously messed up. Whenever I try to update my account I get a user error, I can't post comments on Direct2Dell, the layout is confusing and the site is slow. I'm sure they just need to work out the kinks but perhaps a Friday launch was not the best idea. I have tried using IE8, FF3 and Opera and have the same problems each time so it is not a browser issue. Status Update The errors have been fixed

Dell has a notification posted in red on every page of the community forums advising of the site upgrade. Can we please turn off the annoying pop up that advises of the same thing? Status Update Please see jackie_c's comment
