TV Tablet

Someone needs to make a tablet with a focus on tv watching. I can see people taking these on trips and even just carrying them around the house for places they don't have TV's, like the kitchen.  I would even possibly just mount one to the wall, say above the bathroom sink so  can watch tv while getting ready for work.  My idea includes a reasonably large screen, perhaps 10 inches.  It would have a built in digital tuner and wifi.  It would have a focus on viewing apps.  Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and VUDU would be a given as they are the most popular.  A full web browser that supports flash would also be good for those sites that let you log in with your cable provider credentials.  Other app accessibility would not really be needed.  But perhaps email and some social apps would be good.  I'm envisioning something relatively thin that would be made with perhaps some time spent being mounted in mind.  Since it is a tv device, some might like to put it in areas where tv's aren't alwasy easy to put, but would be handy.  Perhaps it could come with a wall mountable frame of sorts that would make it easy to remove the tablet when you wanted to take it on the go.  A discreet power cable that could be pluged in while mounted would also be necessary.

Where MS cannot Dell can!  new Apple Air PC alternative. i5/i7 HASWELL options - new core graphics can handle just about anything... 14-15 inch is a missing sweet spot for size replaceable battery - minumum 5 hours of business use / 2.5 gaming use upgradeable memory (4/8GB) offer mSSD slot at least 2x USB 3 with quickcharge Card reader partner with AT&T for business everywhere feature offer compact (cover?) keyboard stylist style pen / touch screen Resolution of 1080p minimum offer travel sleeve offer multiple covers must be <5 lbs... lighter is better 350 nit brightness minimum Nothing listed is technically unreachable and MS seems slow to the table (and undersized for a serious work/play combo device).

Updated XPS 12?

I really want an XPS 12, but I want it with a few improvements before I spend all that money on one.First, I love the design, so most of it shouldn't change. But I would like Gorilla Glass 3 on the glass instead of 2.I would also love a better and bigger battery, as the current one isn't so good. Also, as it should get Haswell, it should have even better battery. I hope you keep the i7 option (a powerful one, and obviously make it Haswell) and 8GB RAM, and I hope you add Intel HD Graphics 5,000, not 4,600, and also add a 500GB+ option. Please add 802.11ac, make the system a bit lighter and maybe thinner, an improved camera, and better & louder speakers.I love the XPS 12, but if you add these things to it, I'll buy it. :)

Just like we watch videos on youtube i want a display with such a bluetooth technology that while we send that video to the display with bluetooth it plays the video too.Along with the video play i want the device to be portable and foldable to any size so that if someone has a smartphone with a 5" screen then he can watch the video on that display (at any loving size) connecting the device to the smartphone via bluetooth keeping the phone in pocket.

Big brother to the XPS 11

HiYou've recently shown off a prototype of the XPS 11 where the cover/keyboard flips back to allow the device to become a tablet, similar to the Lenovo design.  While everyone is wowed by haswell and the 1440p screen, I'm thinking you need to make a similar device but a big brother in a 13.3" size that uses something akin to the 1080 screen on the XPS 13.  Why "akin"?  Well you should make it touch enabled and pen enabled, much like the XPS 11.  But while a 1440p 13.3 would be nice, certainly something of the quality of the 13.3 1080p would be suitable as well.  I say this because the time for this device is now, so better get crackin.  If you wait till Christmas, someone else will have already run with this idea.

Mobile Apps

Why is it that Dell who sells nothing but Windows and Linux systems only offers Mobile apps for IOS and Android?  I know I can't be the only person who owns a Windows 7 phone.  I get so frustrated when every app that comes out that would benifit myself and my company are only offered for the iOS and Android.  If you haven't tried the windows 7 phone you should as it far surpasses iOS.  Give us more windows apps....
