To those who are asking for paper packaging, understand that manufacturing paper bags/products is actually more harmful and energy hungry than plastic. The best solution is twisties or zip ties and all cables in one bag. Only problem is Dell likely buys cables from different suppliers based on price (XYZ has the best price on VGA cables this week so Dell buys 1000s of them at a time and they are individually wrapped) so it may not be reasonable to make this change.
Also consider how frequently when you put cables with zip ties in a box that they get tangled. This is a problem for Dell when trying to expedite boxing they need parts to be easy to grab so plastic helps.
No more plastic wrap, please
