Guys I have a GREAT IDEA

Hoped to realize by myself someday, but unfortunately a lot of ideas bygone. I think that touchpad must be removeable to become external when one wants. And the form can be as the flat square or semi-spheric. That can be reinserted in a container inside the notebook's base and become the standard touchpad. I invite your attention please share your opinions! Thanx.

Jan 28		 a better refined idea would be to create a larger pad that would essentially look like a mouse pad. Even better if it were bluetooth, and had a Lithium Ion Battery.

Jan 29		 i like this idea! the tiny touchpad gizmo could even work like a chordless "remote" mouse, while making presentations, watching movies..navigating media center...etc

Jan 30		 sorry, but it's a bad idea.
Things in a notebook aught to stay in a notebook, not become a core unit with external appliances. that's a desktop. have you thought how impractical it would be on your lap, during a flight? how much time it wastes having to take the mouse in and out if all you wanna do is show some pics to your friends?

However, good job on thinking "outside the box", it's a nice original idea, but not a practical one.

Jan 31		 You dont have to remove the touchpad, it just can be removable, NO DOGMA for desktop or laptop its just a COMPUTER. Apple iMac is laptop with stand or LCD screen? ;-) Thanks
