Allow more/all desktop replacement laptops to dock with a non usb dock

I have an XPS m1710 that docks at home and work with the d/dock. I see not all 17" desktop replacements have the ability to dock without the USB solution. I find this very useful as there are many connections to this computer at home and work and simply docking it and instanly being connected is fantastic. On the 1730, i see no docking feature, and the area is filled with fans which seem to make it impratical. However, other models from small to large that serve a desktop replacement funtion could benefit from the docking system seen on some of your other models.

Jan 25		 I keep finding more of these as I browse that didn't come up on the search. Promote this and all docking solution related ideas!
