well watch this video to see how dell's XPS 1330 and 1530 Glossy Color
in red and scratch test very nice Gorgeous. i hope Dell would implement this design of Glossy Color just watch how vibrant the red color on Glossy finish imagine the blue, black , white, etc color option, if this would be implemented as an option Now to the XPS 1530 and 1330, Dell staff , administrator have you implemented this idea? i hope you could implement this!!! NOW!!!

this picture and video is from dynamicZ here is a link http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=202510<

@ this time its not finish it seems to have bubbles but the finish product is so shinny and well protected from scratches

it seems to be bubbly and not smooth because the process is not finish you will have to remove the excess air and water but overall it will be a glossy finish and well protected from scratch

well so many ideas , that dell couldn't think what idea to choose first well overall they have their own Sales strategies plus it depends on the votes also if the consumers want the ideas being posted they promoted it and dell will see if it will be implemented , all of the ideas will be reviewed, promoted or demoted , if you want an idea to be promoted just click on to it so that it will increase its vote points

Votes?huh... does that matter sooooo much? It's just with an understanding and analysis of the "Market needs" that things need to go on Bryan14c isnt it?...
sales strategies? can you just list one of those plz?
does any of it's strategy implies "Not to attract the market / be appealing / not to come first in CES2008?
I require your counter response Bryan14c

I don't think the votes HERE should matter that much... not nearly enough participants to base sales strategies on... and, as far as I can tell, Dell hasn't made any significant efforts to greatly increase participation.

Reader's Digest has started email-linked, web-based product promotions and surveys. I'm not to thrilled with the surveys, but I think they're better than what I have SEEN Dell do so far.

Reader's Digest? wow ...can you provide me the link Paul? becoz the edition varies from region to region

True, but in this case, Petzy, I'm signed-up for their email contact, so it's not a url.

an email contact? I receive it as books, Books now have a greater advantage,
1. you need not necessarily sit before the systems to read anything
2. whenver you are free, you can just pick it up and turn the pages on ...whether there is power or not
3. sit in your own comfortable position and read it with relax

Well, I receive the RD magazine (book) monthly, but I was referring to their online surveys linked FROM the email they send.

Really there is no way to know how many surveys or communites Dell is using for information in conjunction with marketing. @phubert, don`t hold your breath to receive an email as I`ve been signed up for years on the driver updates and others and hadn`t received one yet.

How about the Vostros? Why not offer glossy finishes on the Vostro notebooks and desktops?

its up to all, if you want to promote the idea, well winoffice that's a good idea to, but this is for the XPS 1330 and 1530 idea only if you have watch the video, but overall if dell wants to implement this idea to all of their notebook well its good to know that hehe...

the video is for all to see how glossy finish looks like on the XPS 1330 and 1530 and if you like it just promote it and we will wait if Dell implement this and i mentioned above, if this will be implemented this will be an option , either choose standard finish or glossy finish thats all, there is nothing to argue

I really like that glossy finish. It is like one of those retro appliances with that bubbly finish. Precisely because of that bubbles effect I don“t think that fingerprints would be too much of an issue, as some fear

Let s go for it!!
