Make notebook keyboards more intuitive

I currently use a 12.1" 700m laptop. I recently purchased an Inspiron 1420 which I am currently in the process of returning.
A big part of why I am returning the 1420 is due to the keyboard layout, which aligns the DELETE, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN, HOME, and END keys vertically. This is a very unintuitive setup to any power user who has learned to type on a full keyboard.
The reason I mention the 700m - its keyboard aligns the HOME, END, INSERT, and DELETE keys along the upper-right. In doing this, typing these keys motions comparable to typing on a regular PC keyboard, and is thus much more intuitive.
Can we offer custom keyboard layouts for laptops? Particularly one that has HOME, END, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN, DELETE in the upper-right row?
