What's with the new "famous" advertising scheme? I bet it's costing way more than it should, just because they're all "famous", and all they really say is "buy a dell". It's kinda silly how little they say, making it look like they're saying as little as possible to meet budget. You guys need a spokesperson.. someone who is associated with Dell whenever you run an advertisement. The barats and bereta guys are pretty funny, and have made somewhat of a name for themselves in the online comedy-sketch community. Have them do ads for you (funny ads are always best) at a fraction of the price you're paying your "famous" people. They'd probably even do a whole skit and say more than six words.
Even if you don't like the barats and bereta guys, get someone else. Middle-age would be best, that way you don't really exclude any age groups. And don't just make him say what everyone else says (e.g. Dell's all-new XPS 1350 is packed with the best hardware and software to give YOU an extreme performance experience. Now thru February get $100 off when you buy an XPS, by mentioning this TV ad!), say something that people will remember (NOT "I can't hear you, because you're not famous". That's lame.) like that budweiser "dude" commercial. It's funny, it's catchy, and he makes budweisers look cool.
Here's some of the stuff that the barats and bereta guys do. (baratsandbereta.com)
Maybe they won't want to endorse Dells, I dunno, but come on guys, you can do better than paying Chuck to say "XPS Power." and Burt to say "..pick your product, pick your pic' and pick your peeps" with his unlowerable eyebrows.
