Its unfair that Dell charges differential pricing for4 the same software (e.g. MS Office) depending on whether the product being configured is a notebook or PC.

Why should MS Office (same edition) cost 12-15% more if loaded on laptops versus on PC?? this smacks of nickel and diming customers and only makes me choose to buy it from retail rather than Dell. why lose the sale opportunity and cause ill feeling for such things??

11/27/07		 Dell's pricing is absolute chaos. They don't seem to ever listen to complaints about it though.
