Dell needs to give us more information on the adjustability of the LCD monitors when configuring a pc.

On the Dell website when building a pc, Dell needs to show if the LCD monitors are adjustable up, down, swivel, and tilt. The four listed on building an Inspiron 530 don`t show any thing.

11/20/07		 The importance of a tilt screen is critical on this particular build as my X-mother is law is 4`5" tall and even with a normal heigth computer desk and the chair raised up, she needs to be able to swivel and tilt the screen. She is also visually impaired, just like a lot of older people. There are a lot of older people buying new pc`s. When I went to chat last night, they didn`t have any idea either. They had to check. There are 4 lcd`s listed and all are stationary, even the 22" Samsung.

11/20/07		 I understand! I totally agree with you! There should be systems that should be specifically designed for people with disabilities. They should be treated as equal. Not just the software alone.

11/20/07		 Dell should have at least one adjustable lcd on any build, especially when they offer several on any build. I`m not disabled and my 17" lcd is adjustable. It`s an Ultra sharp, which isn`t even offered on a Inspiron 530.

11/20/07		 Thanks gmat for the link. If I put XP on this 530, it has a built in screen magnifier. We still need to be able to tilt the screen for her comfort.
