yes.. Why is dell notorious in this? Linux PCs only in US... XPS not all varietes available world wide... except the model 420.. everything else is not available... Look at apple.. when it released Intel based mac, it was available almost immediately everywhere in Apple stores... It's priced the same everywhere... That's how a company should be...
What logistics? Dell manufactures it at 5 locations outside US I suppose... Ireland is one of them... But Dell UK or Europe will not have XPS One... Malaysia is another, but none of the south asian countries get it... It's like creating a "I want that" eagerness and harnessing it... Just like GMail invites...
There is a large LCD shortage if I recall. Its why the XT tablet was supposedly set back. Perhaps they are trying to sell them in the market they fell will buy the most for the holiday season and will roll them out when they can globally.
