Dell should give every customer a free 32inch monitor display with the purchase of every inspiron notebook - for use at the office. It's the least they can do.

11/16/07		 While that would be nice, I think it would be way too expensive a price increase that would have to be tacked on to notebooks, and many customers would have other plans for displays (different size, different manufacturer, already have a monitor, don't want a monitor, etc.)

11/16/07		 32" costs like a top configured Inspiron... I´d definitely appreciate it though, maybe make an e-shop with inspirons and 32" monitors and sell them sepparately

11/16/07		 The idea of a company is to provide products and services to sell and, preferably, make a profit.

Dell is not a for-loss company, this makes no business sense because a 32" LCD tv is not a great computer monitor. If the OP meant a 30" LCD monitor, those things cost over a thousand dollars typically.

11/16/07		 dwood, do you have any idea how much is done by Dell in donations and provisions? Not just by the company but by the employees?

Just because Dell doesn't make a big demonstration about it's giving initiatives doesn't mean that things aren't being done.

Go to Africa, you will find plenty of Dell's in places where they are needed for education and healthcare.

11/20/07		 Lol. actually, I find LCDs more convenient yet CRTs just.... never hurt my eyes. it was basically an ultra high res TV.
