Dell: implement IdeaStorm POLLS

...but first determine the POLL QUESTION LIST by input from IdeaStorm participants.

Why polls when we have VOTING?

Well, site organization and features is ONE area where a poll might be beneficial... especially if the poll, itself, has comments (see varlinux.org polls for an example).

There are still good suggestions being posted relevant to the site and its features.

Other areas???

11/13/07		 A poll would be another way to provide focus on some ongoing thought/need/discussion.

It could be seen as an additional tool/feature of the site.

11/13/07		 btw, @dell_admin1 and all Dell staff: Kudos on your progress on integrating IdeaStorm into Direct2Dell and the email subscription to entries there, I think it's working VERY well!

11/14/07		 I've always felt the need for polls here. There are times when you need the info.
an example would be something like.

1. I want Linux pre-installed
2. I want my system to be Linux compatible for the future
3. I want a dual boot system
4. I want windows only
5. I don't care what Dell does about Linux

People would be able to promote or demote the idea still and participate in the poll.
