Dell holds continued responsibility for the functioning of embedded O.S.

To make a Dell Computer attractive to the average consumer, Dell embeds the latest Operating System in their computers, laptops and notebooks. Saving its customers hundreds of dollars. We Thank, Dell. Yet, when problems arise, the customer service component recommends the Software department, which is a paid department. If the customer persues Microsoft, Microsoft recommends the embedded manufacturer, sending the customer back to Dell.
Customer Loyalty is developed through the reliable, dependable, and accountable behavior of the retail company. If Dell is going to embed products by other companies, Dell's technical advisor must know the mechanics of these products and services. Never send your customer to another manufacturer. Any additional cost for services to embedded products, should be made know immediately, but never the full cost to your customer who only have or is allowed part of or a fraction of product functionality. Microsoft builds it Customer's Loyalty daily, while Dell sends Microsoft its share of loyal customers.
I personally love Dell products and was elated when Dell began to support itself. It took Dell long enough to support its computers directly with it New Tuneup Services. I waited Two years for Dell to support and protect Dell computers.
If my Dell computer has a problem, any type of problem, Dell Tuneup should .locate the problem whether the problem is hardware, the operating systems or software. A consumer problems end immediately, once the Tuneup is activated and implemented. Yet, this is not the case. Dell's Automatic Tuneup cannot Identify All issues. This is disappointing to Dell consumers. My Idea I will pass on to the Dell corporation is stand by your machine; the Dell computer is the Best Constructed computer on the market, but that is not reason to become laxidasical in the maintanence area. A Tuneup and Diagnostic service for its Own machine must render accurate diagnostics. That Dell have built a better machine, consumers won't beat a path to Dell's door if Dell don't understand its own specifications.

The new Dell support center is a wonderful addition. I, to have waited for the suppoort center to improve. There are many good features here with an easy to use interface. It does a lot of things for us. I suspect if you click the feed back button and leave feedback, it will continue to evolve. It is a step in the right direction. I urge you to leave your feed back.

Yes, sb, that is a very good addition. I wish to see it evolve and on the lines of a utility called DellConnect it would be even more good.
