Computer Vs Television

My idea is based on the fact that more households are starting to contain Television sets, and computers each day. It is now stated that there are more television sets in the average household then people in the household.

"NEW YORK (AP) — The average American home now has more television sets than people. That threshold was crossed within the past two years, according to Nielsen Media Research. There are 2.73 TV sets in the typical home and 2.55 people, the researchers said."

This should come as good news to TV sales, however what does it say about computers? My idea is to incorperate a projection system with a notebook, in this day more people are turning to notebooks for Music and Movies, so why not corner the market.

A notebook that doubles as a projector, meaning you can play a movie against a wall without needing a dvd player and television set which take up room. One issue i have been trying to solve is the gaming problem. A way to hook up a gaming system to the notebook to play through the projector.
Its just an idea that needs to be thought through. any ideas?

11/03/07		 demoted because of the extra heat projectors add, the space it would take up, and the weight it would add. but mostly the heat. good idea though. halo looks really sweet when you play it on a projector
