TECH SUPPORT ON NEW ORDERS?

I've twice priced out a new laptop only to stop at the point where I must select the amount I want to pay for tech support for it. I've owned two dell desktops and I'd like a laptop upgrade but I just can't see having to pay for tech support.

You don't have to pay for tech support...? The difference is with laptops is that you have to pay for the ONSITE servicing of the laptop. However all Dell computers have phone support included in their warranties.
