Even dell pcs donot have the printer drivers installed; it is not easy for a layman to install a dell printer .

05/20/07		 There are many, many Dell printer models - should all the printer drivers be pre-installed? That would certainly clutter up your Printers and Faxes folder. Or are you simply proposing that the files be available as part of the hard drive image, and you could search for them when adding a new printer? I haven't found the printer drivers to be all that difficult to install - but then I don't consider myself a layman. Perhaps you should change your suggestion to: "Make Dell Printer Drivers Simple To Install"?

05/23/07		 We have lots of Dell PCs, but all our printers are other brands. Dell drivers would count as useless "crapware" to us.
