IdeaStorm needs new/better categories?

Dell sells Network equipment... but IdeaStorm categories do not address this.

Software is listed, but not Firmware (drivers)

"Hardware" could be useful to address -all- hardware-related issues (including drivers)

ONE additional category????

I'm trying to classify every suggestion I've submitted... some simply don't fit.

That way more serious topics won't be 'stigmatized'

05/08/07		 @dell_admin1 was interested in providing a 'Funny Ideas' topic but I think, like me, was looking for a catch-all title that would have broader application and, perhaps, no pejorative connotation.

05/08/07		 Technically, drivers aren't firmware (most of the time). A Hardware section could be useful, lots of case/hardware ideas get submitted, and if drivers/firmware are the topic then people could just select both categories when posting the topic.

05/09/07		 Yes, I realized that as I typed it... but thought 'what the heck' ... Dell's server update utility does both firmware and drivers, so that's what I had in mind at the time...
